Overview
FC will be a smaller conference in comparison to BMUN's larger annual conference, and each committee will feature crisis procedure. Although the main goal of each committee will be to pass resolutions on each topic, delegates will also be tasked with facing continuous crises and responding through directives. This is a great opportunity for both novice delegates to be introduced to a crisis-driven committee and advanced delegates to hone their skills.
To attend FC, all delegates are required to submit a waiver (see Fall Conference 2024 Waiver below). Please contact events@bmun.org if you have any questions or concerns regarding our policies.
Fall Conference 2024 Waiver
Before arriving, each delegate and their parent/guardian will need to sign and complete our online waiver form. We require the completion of the waiver for both delegates and adult supervisor(s) by Thursday, November 7th, at 11:59pm. Delegates without a waiver submission will not be permitted to participate in Fall Conference.
Committee Preparation
For Fall Conference this year, we will not be accepting position papers. In order to prepare for FC, delegates are encouraged to read the committee topic synopses and character profiles available on the FC Committees tab, and to also follow up with their own research on both the topic and their character. Note: FC is a crisis conference, meaning all committees will be conducted using this format.
Location
Fall Conference will take place in Dwinelle Hall this year. Advisor Meeting and Lounge will be located in Dwinelle 234. Closing Ceremony will take place in Dwinelle 155. Dwinelle Hall is ADA accessible.
