General Overview

Committee sessions are a mode for delegates to demonstrate the research that they have conducted on their topic, and allow chairs to assess how well delegates can articulate their unique positions and resolutions for the benefit of the committee. While this is the general goal of committee sessions, in BMUN, each committee looks a little bit different.

Committee Procedure

There are various types of committees in BMUN, each with a procedure that impacts the flow of committee sessions and resolution writing. For our purposes, BMUN uses two distinct procedures: standard BMUN procedure, and alternative procedures (e.g. THIMUN and crisis).
